Archbishop of Canterbury: Reconcile Differences After EU Referendum Campaign

05-600Great Britain’s vote last June to leave the European Union, dubbed “Brexit,” has generated sharp divisions across that nation. In his annual New Year’s message, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby urged people to overcome those differences for the good of the country. He made his statement from Coventry Cathedral, which was badly damaged in World War II but has now become an international symbol of reconciliation.
