Brussels Terrorist Attacks Condemned by Religious Leaders

07-brussels-600Religious groups strongly condemned this week’s terrorist attacks in Brussels. Pope Francis urged people to “persevere in prayer.” Francis also asked for the conversion of those blinded by “cruel fundamentalism.” A Muslim umbrella group in Belgium also condemned what it called “acts of extreme cruelty against innocent civilians.” Four Mormon missionaries were among the hundreds injured in the attacks.
