Christians around the world continue preparations leading up to Christmas. Guatemala celebrated a centuries-old tradition known as the “Burning of the Devil,” where people set effigies of the devil on fire as a symbol of purification. Festivities are also underway in Bethlehem, the traditional birthplace of Jesus, where this week there was a rare Middle East snow storm.
