A new report from the Centers for Disease Control says that more unmarried women who get pregnant while dating are choosing to move in with the fathers rather than get married. The report calls this arrangement “shotgun cohabitation,” which is now significantly outpacing shotgun weddings. The survey shows that between 2006 and 2010, 18.1 percent of all single women who became pregnant moved in with their boyfriends before childbirth, compared to 5.3 percent who got married.
