Three-Day Summit “In Defense of Christians” Focuses on Persecution of Middle Eastern Christians

In Washington, Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant leaders united on Capitol Hill in a prayer service for Middle Eastern Christians and other religious minorities experiencing violence at the hands of ISIS. The service was part of a three-day convention that was held to urge members of Congress to do more to address the plight of Christians, Yazidis, and other minorities in the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Iraq.
