Doctors Without Borders Calls for increased HIV/AIDS Funding

02-600Humanitarian organizations and other experts gathered this week in South Africa for the international AIDS conference. Doctors Without Borders said that 4.5 million of the 6.5 million people living with HIV in Central and West Africa are not receiving medical treatment. The goal to get 30 million people with HIV on treatment by 2020 was announced last month at a UN conference. But Doctors Without Borders said that goal will not be met if the international community does not provide more funding.
