Dylann Roof Found Guilty of Church Shootings

roof-600A jury found 22-year old Dylann Roof guilty of killing nine black worshippers at a church in Charleston, South Carolina in 2015. Roof is an avowed white supremacist. Jurors found him guilty on 33 charges, including murder, hate crimes, and obstruction of religion. Jurors will determine whether Roof will receive life in prison or the death penalty in the next phase of the trial, which is scheduled to begin in January.
