Evangelicals Prefer Trump, Clinton backed by “Nones”

12-600A new survey from the Pew Research Center found that about 78 percent of white evangelicals said they would vote for Donald Trump, although 45 percent of them said it was mainly a vote against Hillary Clinton. Catholics, who were closely divided in the last election, are leaning toward Clinton, thanks in part to her strong support among Hispanic Catholics. Voters with no religious affiliation are also firmly supporting Clinton.
