Faith-Based Volunteers Head to Flooded Midwest

midwest-floodsThe Southern Baptist Convention and other groups have sent volunteers to the Midwest, where people are dealing with widespread flooding from the Mississippi and surrounding rivers. At least four people have died. Workers are helping with clean-up, while volunteers prepare hundreds of meals a day to feed emergency crews and those who have been left homeless.
