Faith-based Aid Organizations Face Challenges of Widespread Death and Damage in Nepal

Faith-based humanitarian groups continued rushing aid to Nepal following the devastating earthquake in that country that killed at least 6200 people. Catholic Relief Services and World Vision were among those delivering supplies to the worst-affected areas, but accessing remote villages has been difficult because of Nepal’s rough terrain. The UN said that of the 8 million people who have been affected by the earthquake, 1.5 million are in dire need of food.
