Georgia’s New Gun Law Allows Guns in Churches

GA-gun-HEAD-smThe governor of Georgia signed a controversial bill expanding the rights of licensed gun owners to carry firearms into various public places. Under certain conditions, guns will now be allowed in churches, schools, government buildings, and bars. Supporters of the bill hailed it as a step forward for personal security, but anti-gun advocates, including some religious leaders, condemned it as the “guns everywhere” bill.
