Halt in Aleppo Fighting Not Enough for Humanitarian Aid

05-600Syria and Russia agreed to halt their airstrikes in Aleppo in order to allow civilians and rebels to flee. Heavy Russian and Syrian bombing has recently hit hospitals and killed hundreds of civilians. Some say, despite the ceasefire, aid is still not reaching those who are unable or refusing to leave the broken city. Meanwhile, thousands of Iraqis are fleeing Mosul and arriving in Syria. US-backed Iraqi government and Kurdish forces are in the midst of a campaign to recapture Mosul from the ISIS terrorists.
