Amid speculation about whether she’ll run for president, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made some rare public comments about her Methodist faith. At a gathering of United Methodist women in Louisville, Clinton spoke about the importance of her upbringing in the church:

Hillary Clinton: “I always cherished the Methodist Church because it gave us the great gift of personal salvation but also the great obligation of Social Gospel. Having hope, faith, and love in action was exactly what we were called to do.”
