houses-of-worship-femaIn the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, some religious groups are pushing Congress to add houses of worship to the list of organizations that can receive grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Some church-state watchdog groups have argued against adding synagogues, churches, or mosques to the list, saying that would be direct government funding of religion.
