Is US Public Becoming Less Religious?

According to a new study released by the Pew Research Center, while Americans as a whole are growing less religious, the faithful are as committed as ever to their religious practices. Researchers said that despite the rise of people who claim no religious affiliation, the United States remains a nation of believers. Seventy-seven percent are still religiously affiliated, and nearly 9 in 10 adults say they believe in God.
