ISIS Releases Some Christian Hostages

Prayers continued around the world on behalf of hundreds of Assyrian Christians who were kidnapped by ISIS militants last week. A human rights group said nineteen of the hostages were released, apparently after being processed by an ISIS sharia court. At the Vatican, Pope Francis led special prayers for the remaining hostages and condemned the brutality of ISIS.
