In Austria, the decomposing bodies of 71 migrants were found inside a truck near the Hungarian border, raising more fears about Europe’s escalating migrant crisis. The bodies were found as a European Union conference about migrants was held in Vienna. German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed shock at the deaths and urged more cooperation among European countries to address human trafficking. Just last month more than 100,000 migrants crossed into EU nations. This year an estimated 300,000 have entered Europe by sea.
