In Nepal, religious groups continued to pray for and deliver aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake there. Relief workers are facing various challenges, including a lack of clean water and the threat of spreading disease. Approximately 8,000 people have died, a number that is expected to rise. Many of Nepal’s ancient temples and World Heritage Sites were also damaged or destroyed.
