The Nigerian government mistakenly bombed a refugee camp this week, killing more than 70 people and injuring more than 100. The Nigerian fighter jet had been searching for members of the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram. The causalities included aid workers. Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross were both on the ground at the time of the attack, attempting to help the thousands there in need of humanitarian assistance. Approximately 4.7 million people in Nigeria are in dire need of aid.
