Poll: Thanksgiving Still about Thanks

With Thanksgiving Day next Thursday (November 26), Lifeway Research in Tennessee has taken a poll asking a national sample what is the most important part of the holiday. The answer was not watching football or getting a jump on Christmas shopping or even the feast, welcoming a good harvest. “Having time with family and friends” was the number two choice, with 39 percent. Number one for just over half the country was “being thankful to God for my blessings.” Happy Thanksgiving.
