Pope Francis Canonizes Seven New Saints

07-600In St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis canonized seven new saints. Among them was an Argentine priest who ministered to the poor and a 14-year-old Mexican boy martyred for refusing to renounce his faith. In all, two martyrs, four priests, and one nun were made saints. An estimated 80,000 people attended the Mass.
