Francis has repeatedly raised concerns about greed and capitalism. In Paraguay last weekend, he urged politicians and business leaders not to support economic agendas which “sacrifice human lives on the altar of money and profit.” Some U.S. critics have called such statements “flawed.” Francis says he hopes to have a dialogue with those critics.
