Pope Francis: End Human Trafficking

world-day-of-peace-NEWS-smIn his annual message for the World Day of Peace, Pope Francis called for a new movement to end human trafficking. With Christmas approaching, he urged consumers to avoid buying products from companies that use exploited labor, saying “purchasing is always a moral and not simply an economic act.” He also said his thoughts were with the people of the world who have had their freedom and human dignity taken from them.
