Pope Meets with Leadership of US Bishops Conference

Leaders of the U.S. Catholic bishops met with Pope Francis at the Vatican this week. New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who is president of the bishops conference, described it as “a meeting of brothers.” Dolan said the pope was curious about issues facing the American church, including the plight of undocumented immigrants.
