Religious leaders have been speaking out against a spate of post-election incidents of hate crimes, harassment, and graffiti against minorities and some houses of worship. On Friday (November 18) in Washington, Christian and Jewish leaders joined Muslims at the Masjid Muhammad, known as the Nation’s Mosque, to demonstrate interfaith solidarity. The group called on the incoming administration to protect the religious liberty of all people and to defend Muslims against violence and discrimination.
