A wide array of religious leaders joined forces to push for a new bill that would reform harsh sentencing guidelines. They gathered together on the U.S. Capitol’s lawn to hold a prayer vigil and to ask for swift action by Congress. Advocates of the bill say the measure has been before the Senate since October, but legislators have delayed taking any action:
