A coalition of 30 health and humanitarian organizations, including the Christian relief group World Vision, released a new report noting that deliberate or indiscriminate attacks have decimated health facilities in various countries. The attacks have also killed medical workers and patients. Countless civilians in 19 countries lacked medical care during 2015 and the first three months of 2016. The report pointed to the recent bombing and shelling of hospitals in countries such as Afghanistan and Syria, as well as the burning and looting of health facilities in several African countries.
