State of the Union: President Addresses Issues of Concern to Religious Organizations

The president pushed for stricter gun control, comprehensive immigration reform, and protections for senior citizens, the middle class, and working families. Some religious organizations praised Obama’s demand to raise the minimum wage and his goal of eradicating world poverty.
