Survey: Majority Believe God Rewards Athletes Who Have Faith

football-faithThis Super Bowl weekend (February 3), does God have a stake in the outcome? According to a new poll from the Public Religion Research Institute, almost 30 percent of Americans say they think God plays a role in determining which teams win games. Half say they approve of athletes who publicly thank God, and more than half say they believe God rewards faithful athletes with good health and success.
