Televangelist Jan Crouch, who co-founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network, died this week, just days after suffering a stroke. She was 78. Jan and her husband, Paul Crouch, launched the network in 1973. TBN says its programming is carried by over 5,000 television stations and bills itself as the world’s largest Christian television network. Jan Crouch and her husband had been criticized for their lavish lifestyle, which included multiple homes, corporate jets, and thousand-dollar dinners.
