tu-bshevat-320

The Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the festival celebrating a new year for trees, is Wednesday, February 4.

Memorial services were held in many places around the world in honor of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland (January 27). In a special ceremony at the former camp, world leaders gathered with 300 survivors, commemorating the event with candles and prayers.
