US religious groups are calling for prayers and peace amid escalating violence in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Israeli and Palestinian officials have been unable to stop deadly confrontations which have been occurring for the last several weeks. Rabbi Rick Jacobs,  the leader of Reform Judaism, called this a dangerous moment and urged both sides not to match hatred with hatred.
