The region is comprised of 26 countries. Below are the three measurable goals of the Education for All initiative and the countries that have met them:

Universal Primary Education: Australia, Fiji, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Niue, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

Adult Literacy: Republic of Korea, Samoa, and Thailand.

Gender Parity: Australia, China, Fiji, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Niue, New Zealand, Philippines, Republic of Korea, and Vietnam.

Thirteen nations have a high chance of achieving all three goals by 2015.
