United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI)

Education for All Fast Track Initiative (FTI)
A global partnership between donor and developing countries created by the World Bank, FTI works to coordinate the dispersement of educational aid money.
Global Campaign for Education
The Global Campaign for Education promotes education as a basic human right, and mobilizes public pressure on governments and the international community to provide free, compulsory public basic education for all people.
Center for Global Development (CGD)
CGD is an independent, non-profit think tank working to reduce global poverty and inequality. In cooperatin with the World Bank, CGD released the paper “A Millennium Learning Goal: Measuring Real Progress in Education” in August 2006.

American Academy of Arts and Sciences: Project on Universal Basic and Secondary Education (UBASE)
