In July 1994, a commuter aircraft exploded in Panama, killing 21 people, 12 of them Jewish. The suicide bombing occurred the day after a suicide attack in Buenos Aires, Argentina, killed 85 at the AMIA Jewish community center. Hezbollah is suspected in both attacks.
