Suicide Bombers
Map: Recent Suicide Terror: Morocco

The nation of Morocco, long one of the West’s strongest Arab allies, was struck by a group of near-simultaneous suicide bombing attacks in May 2003, in the city of Casablanca, killing 45 people. Although there have been no confirmed suicide bombings there since, Moroccans have been linked to international terrorist groups, possibly including al Qaeda, and also to the train bombings in Madrid in March 2004.
