(September 20, 2005) WIDE ANGLE travels to Vietnam to investigate the threat of a global pandemic, portraying Vietnam's response to outbreaks in its cities, provinces and villages, where doctors, epidemiologists and veterinarians are battling the virus.
Since 2003, 58 people have died of avian flu in Southeast Asia, and unofficial reports coming out of China suggest that the number may be significantly higher.
