Croatia was the target of a single suicide attack in October 1995, carried out by the Egyptian organization Egyptian Islamic Jihad. The bombing targeted a local police station in Rijake, apparently in retaliation for the disappearance of one of the groups leaders, who was eventually extradited to Egypt.
