In Nairobi, Kenya, aristocrat Thomas Cholmondeley is sentenced to eight months for shooting and killing a black man who was on the aristocrat’s property. The light sentence sparked outrage; the 37 year old Robert Njoya is the second black man shot and killed by Cholmondeley. The first case was dismissed.
