Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant is a conservation scientist, large carnivore ecologist, nature storyteller, and advocate. Her expertise is in using statistical modeling to investigate how anthropogenic factors can influence the spatial patterns of carnivore behavior and ecology. One such carnivore – the grizzly bear. She joined us this week on Facebook to provide a glimpse into her preparations for our upcoming American Spring LIVE broadcast, during which she will be giving us a first-hand look at bears, including new cubs, as they are coming out of hibernation.
