Cacti are important to their ecosystems, providing nectar, fruits and nesting places for all sorts of animals in the dry heat where they live. But cacti are under constant threats to their habitat. According to their website, you can “help transcribe information from herbarium specimen labels, so that it can be used by researchers working to conserve these icons of the desert.” Learn more HERE.
