Each week, we feature a worthy citizen science project or nature news segment from around the nation. This week, as the seasons start to shift, is Nature’s Notebook.
The mission of Nature’s Notebook’s is simple and accessible for citizen scientists of all ages: to track seasonal changes in plants and animals. You can choose from a number of campaigns (or projects), create your own projects, and even see how the data you gather and contribute is being used to make real change in the world.
Nature’s Notebook is run by the USA National Phenology Network, who also provide webinars, podcasts, and other articles to help keep you involved and up to date on how climate change is affecting plants and animals globally.
